I didn't but another girl in my school did. So I'm of no help to you.

Good luck in your A2s- I can't believe they haven't started yet! I'm finishing my second subject on Wednesday (CCEA S1 on Wed and economics is already finished) and then there's just AQA biology to contend with.
Gosh I can't believe you guys still have exams, I finished a week ago, good luck with them hope you all get what you need xx

Yours are Scottish though, aren't they? (Forgive me if I'm mixing you up with someone else!)
I would have been finished if everything was done on the NI exam board (I think). AQA clearly just like putting A2 exams in June. :/

Hey guys, so the A2 exams begin next week (well for me they do) and I know that most of you wont see this because youre revising! But who has actually firmed Cardiff?
Really worried about missing the offer by one grade at the moment ;/
HI!! I've firmed Cardiff too I'm REALLY worried I won't get my grades after how my maths exam went today Do u think they are quite lenient? and do most people get 3As?

omg i'm just like you for Biology.
Although to be fair my maths exam was awful too, but I have a high A from AS so its ok. BUT BIOLOGY. I can only drop 27 marks from the whole A2 to get an A....
and I just dropped them in my first exam, so its now impossible to make the offer - i've been soo depressed the whole day.
The admissions there seem really generous, and they say that it is highly unlike that everyone will get 3 A's. So it comes down to your personal statement then I guess?
I'm so freaked out, I dont want to go to my insurance, I only insured it because they offer a B in biology.

Its kinda annoying that I know my results day will be full of phone calls and stress =[ better get my telephone voice and speech sorted :P

Does anybody know if a maths degree can lead into a job in the optometry field? Thanks

Only if you take an optometry degree afterwards. You can only practice as an optometrist is you do an optometry degree (or ophthalmic dispensing and then a very intense and very expensive conversion year.)

Like TheSownRose says, you can't get into Optometry without an Optometry degree.
So you'd have to do maths and then do an Optom degree- which'll be another three years plus another year for your professional exams.

I think both economics papers went well and so did Biol4. As for C3/4/S1/M1 and Biol5, not sure. :/
