I'm reading World War Z. It's taking me ages to read it because it's such a long book and I keep stopping; I'm generally a pretty fast reader. I'm finding it really interesting though!

The Catcher in the Rye, (thanks to The Perks of Being a Wallflower) :mmm:

Oh and Looking for Alaska was really good, couldn't put it down so pretty much read it in one sitting. Looks like I've found my summer hobby :awesome:

I recently read Catcher in the Rye and Perks of Being a Wallflower too, (but in the reverse order to you). I loved Perks of being a Wallflower but I thought Catcher in the Rye was more subtle and in parts ambigous which gave it a bit more substance.

Recently finished The Warsaw Anagrams by Richard Zimler. Loved it. Dark, affecting. A good read.

3/4 of the way through my 'beach/holiday' read [rather poor, to be honest, but easy to read on a flight] - The Beach House by Jane Green.

Just ordered The Observations by Jane Harris. Looks great and it has come recommended by a fellow Sarah Waters fan.

Very Humorous, not factual but, it never really was about brining scientific facts to the table like The God Delusion. Good Read.

Just started Lolita, the writing is so different from the books I've previously read. I think I will enjoy it.

I did exactly that too! Was suprisingly less impressed by Catcher in the Rye than Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Just finished The Fault in our Stars, try not to spoil it for anyone, but i think its the only book thats actually made me full on cry so good though

Dead Simple, the first DSI Roy Grace book by Peter James. Only up to chapter six so far, and the chapters are quite short, but it's decent thus far.

Well I'm half way through The Catcher in the Rye and have to say so far, I agree with you!

How far are you into it? I'm reading it too, nearly half way through and still haven't found the meaning of the book... The American spellings threw me off at the beginning too, it reminds me of The Death of a Salesman though, not the storyline, but the speech.
