Have you ever coded a game before?

They're nice ideas, but isn't it easier to make a website with a database back-end. Easy way to get the marks :tongue:

An A level maths game seems to be a good choice, because you can have lots of complexity. Maybe noughts and crosses would be good too. :biggrin:

I'm doing OCR so it has to have a substantial coded element in a high level language, and besides it's been a good couple of years before i did anything in PHP/MySQL/HTML.

Java and C++ are still fresh in my mind, so i think I would find it easier. Probably :colondollar:

Good luck with FP2 I hope you do better than I did in Jan :biggrin:

*Flick through Java book
*Review Systems development life cycle
*Write the problem definition down
*Review physics mechanics module
*Learn experiment to calculate gravitational acceleration, g

I've just gotten a glimpse at how much work the computing A2 gonna be :frown: I think I'm going to drop it.

Thanks :h:

I'm hoping it gets easier with practice!
Tomorrow:

*Planning rights essay
*Reading a few pages of Como Agua and making notes
*Spanish articles + vocab
*Redrafting history cw - only 50 more words to cut down!

You've worked hard today. Well done! :hugs:

Ooh go on then :tongue:

BC = 6 cm, AC = 5cm, AB = 4cm
angle BAC I've worked out to be cos x = 1/8
and using the trig identity sin^2x + cos^2x = 1 figured out sinx=378sin x = \frac{3\sqrt 7} {8}

Hence find the area of the triangle ABC.

In case you haven't done it;

You've found the angle BAC, you have three sides.

Consider the formula 12absinc\frac{1}{2} ab \sin c

If there's anything else you're unsure about, just send me a PM or reply to this post. :smile:
Computing:
- Work on the user manual
- Indent/comment more code

I've checked the AQA website but it's saying £27.50 per paper. But I've rung a private centre and they're asking for a hundred pounds per paper:O

That is because of the admin fees. I pay £50 per paper but this year I was late so ended up paying £100 per paper. Have a good look around before you agree to anything. I think Colleges/6th Forms are a lot more expensive.
So much work, it's unbelievable :frown:
