Can't remember exactly. All I can remember was that 108 take away something was the answer. The scale factor was 1.5, I think.

Yeah, I did that aswell, I go 60 i think

I thought it was okay...definitely got one wrong, but I left school quickly so I wouldn't find out any more that I did wrong.

Well, I'm going to focus on my next exam now. Anyone else got history tomorrow? OCR Medicine and Germany for me. :s-smilie:

I took the Foundation level of this exam today (non calculator). To be honest, I thought it was quite simply dire. The questions were poorly written, and it was like nothing I have ever seen in the practice papers (and we have done them all). There was even one question with a man stood next to a giraffe; they asked us to estimate the hight of the giraffe without any measurements given. Do they think we are all super human or something?!

The answer was 7.2cm... worked it out AFTER the exam lol, 4 x 0.6 = 2.4 2.4 x 1/3 = 7.2

I think you may be right, im not sure but i still dont understand it, any our school is S*** (sorry for the language but it really is that) hence the fact that we only got one try for maths and like 60% get from A*-C. i would ahve been better off in another school but lets hope college pays off

You'll probably get carry-over/method marks. Don't worry about it.

I workd out the sin/tan question when my paper was being collected i am so mad
i should get SOME marks however i got working
What was the answer to the simplification one with the big fraction
And also the one where you need to get a/b there was an x which confused me.

Am I mad for saying that I got All trues for the last vector question?

And for the cyclic-quadrilateral question, what did people get for z?

I got 45 degrees o___o

I got 2x +3 over 2x +1 (I think this is the one)

I got confused with that too! That's another 3 marks down the drain. I had no idea what to do :s-smilie:

You probably only lost 1 mark there.

Don't worry about it now.

I hated that completing the square one. Got that wrong. Apparently a=-10 (which I got) and b=15 (which I didn't get).

For the simplification I got x+2 over x+6
For the a/b one, I think I got -10 and something else. I literally went through an almost identical question with my teacher before my exam :colone:

What did everybody get for the vector question?

Same.
Does any oen have any good material to revise from for the gcse maths on the 10/06/2011 (Higher)
