Remark (1 off an A*)

It could be possible but is it really worth all that money. Why did you not do it when you first got the results. I was one mark off an A* got it remarked and got an A*. If it goes up a grade you get refunded with AQA anyway not sure on the OCR regulations on remarks.

if it's maths or science surely other modules could raise the grade to an A*

I spoke to the examination officers, they said it would be expensive but I'm not sure if it was their way of disuading me.

In every exam, i'm ALWAYS one mark off a grade. Sorry. This is probably no help at all.

Really gets annoying sometimes.

You're like..."aghhh, if only i did that extra fifteen minutes of revision instead of eating that chocolate fudge cake".

£17.80- when they said expensive I thought they meant £30+ lazy sods.

And OCR don't refund your money if the mark has been changed which is a shame.

I can't find where it says the deadline though, boody annoying!

I'm not sure where you got £17.80 from but a remark for a module costs £35.80, with a clerical check (adding up marks, ensuring each page is marked) costs £12.60.
