    Re: The Walking Dead
I really enjoyed the episode but there were some ridiculous flaws that spoiled it.
    Spoiler:
    Show
    • Considering they had just driven from the way the herd came how the hell did they not notice driving past 100 slow walking zombies?
Why use the oldest person who likely has the worst eyesight to keep a lookout for zombies? And then he doesn't see them until they are literally on top of them :facepalm2:
The zombie in the RV has its ear against the door and can't hear the girls heavy breathing and metallic clinking when trying to put the gun together but then it is almost by the door and hears a tiny tinkling of metal on the floor.
That moronic girl who gets out from under the truck before any of he adults. After living in that sort of world for that amount of time there is no way she wouldn't be trained in this sort of situation. She is 12 so she shouldn't be that stupid.
Then when Rick hides her she waits amount 15 seconds before running out after he told her to wait for him.
Moaning about there not being enough 'gas' whilst driving past millions of cars :facepalm2:
Oh and finally staying in a ****ty RV and ye olde station wagon. You would change to strong jeeps etc that could go off road and also act as battering rams and defensive positions.

I am glad that the kid got shot. He was pissing me off right through the episode and his parents were absolutely ridiculous letting him go with them. He does not have the size, speed or intelligence to deal with zombies.
Then letting him go to the stag in a hollow bush area that could have zombies in any of the bushes :facepalm2:

Andrew Lincolns accent has somehow gotten worse between series. The opening monologue became almost laughable because of it :mmm:

Still, I did enjoy it and I am glad it is back

The zombies were coming towards them, not from behind no?

Can't argue with your other points though. :p:

They were coming from behind as they were going from back to front on the RV. It is also why they decided to turn back to go to the interstate as the zombies were going to be ahead of them as they would have overtaken the zombies at some point.

Yeah I wondered that too. It's like how the hell did they come from behind without them driving past or something? But I suppose you could argue that they came out from the woods when they heard the noise of moving vehicles

Probably next year if channel 5 decide to pick it up again.

    Anyone been watching this?

Been wanting to get round to it for a while, and just finished watching the first episode.

I must admit, I do enjoy a good zombie-fest, and this is shaping up nicely.

It's got Adam Lincoln as a Police Sheriff, for those that aren't aware of it at all.

Hopefully this thread will build-up to a discussion of the show.
It is awesome! I love Zombie films so this series (the first one) was like a 5 hour zombie film fest

Season two just came out. Exciting stuff!
