I was pretty lucky, the majority of stuff i wasn't too confident on didn't end up in the exam...

For the essay i talked about the role of allies and ambiguity of the task for conformity, the research support was from Asch. Then i talked about humanisation (role of buffers) and illegitimacy of authority, research support was from Milgram. Then in my conclusion i mentioned the other factors that could affect independant behviour (e.g. locus of control and personal experience).
What did you use?

The therapy question was a bit strange... 3 marks felt like so little. For psychoanalysis i mentioned free association and then explained a little about dream interpretation. For systematic desensitisation i wrote tons, i had no idea how to cut it down without missing something vital... so....

Ahhh right =O See, I only talked about Gamson, and his research on situational factors, then for evaluation I talked about personality factors =/ I dunno if i did it right, yours sounds really clever, but, from what I've seen, there're a ton of different responses, so i think you could have put a variety ^)^

I know, I ended up writing tiny and squeezing for all, i said so little but i tired to put everything. Exactly! I did that for systematic desensitation too DX But yeah, that one at the beginning of tje abnormalty section, the therapy improvement drug table thingy... what did you put for that? It was kdinda odd but I think I got SOMETHING.

Found the exam tricky, could kick myself when it asked for psychological method to deal with workplace stress, mind went totally blank, could only think of psychoanalysis, when came out remembered hardiness training and stress innoculation which I had revised hard on but couldn't remember any of it for exam. Think I did really badly oh well too late now

Psychological method for workplace stress?! And anyway, aw T.T *hugs* THat sucks, but don't worry, you can resit, and you may have done better than you think ^_^ People seemto be finding it hard, so grade boundaries may be low. But yes, you're right, too late to be upset about it ^)^

If your not sure about yours you could always ask you psychology teacher next time you see him/her, i often find myself trying to find teachers after exams to pick their brains... lol

I put down something about how the average was very similar so it appears as though both therapies are equally good at treating the same disorder. Then i tried to talk about the range, but i'm pretty sure i messed that up, so i'm looking at 2 marks max.

It WAS... I put down basically what you put and then I noticded how the first therapy was between 2-19 in effectiveness, so I thought for the patients that it worked a lot for, their anxiety disorder may have been caused by biologicdal factors as it was a drug... and stuff. it was kinda crap T.T But yeah, I put on average they seem equally good.. i think 3 max, but 1 least. i don't think I've got none...

well the independent question was okay i guess although i dont think i wrote enough evaluation to gain 12 out of 12

you know for the personality type person...it said to talk about body response to stress...i spoke about selye GAS system and i think its wrong would i get any marks at all do you think?

What subjects do you do apart from psychology? I'm very glad for coursework, it's really boosting my history grade this year (which i desperately needed at the beginning, it took me forever to get to grips with the essays this year!!)

Haha, we took very similar A Levels, although i also did geography at AS. Thank god i dropped it at A2, apparently it's a bit of a nightmare...

History isn't so bad, once you figure out how to write the essay's its really just knowing the facts and knowing when to put them in an essay... actually that does sound pretty bad... lol

Yep i applied to uni, i've firmed the University of Kent for psychology. What about you? Will you be applying to uni this year?

We did didn't we XD Urgh, I didn't even do geogrpahy GCSE My friend really regretted not doing going geography A-level so she's doing the AS nexy year...

Yeah ^_^ I was good at GCSE but at A-level it sounded daunting DX I'm sure your god though!

Ah, yeah we apply from septemberish i think =D And yeah i wanna do english lit and i;m thinking of applying to ucl, oxford and some other places but i wanna do a psychology joint with english lit, so i'm thinking keele =O
