They've still got to be pretty low I would of thought. I was consistently getting 90+ on past papers and from looking at the answers to this one I think I barely scraped 80.

I'm not going to guess the boundaries as many people on this thread did, but they are definitely not going to go down by a huge amount. I would have thought that for this paper they would be around 80 for an A* and teachers seem to agree with that, but then that's only this paper and Friday's paper might be a lot easier which would make them higher overall.

Hi Mr M

For the frequency polygon diagram, I drew the correct bars and joined up the mid points of each bar as you are supposed to.
However, I was doing a practice paper before Monday and it said that the first and last mid point should be joined to make a polygon.

So I did this is the exam and I don't think it is right. Will I lose marks for this or will I still get the marks as I plotted the midpoints and joined them?

Thanks

Just noticed how for the cosine rule question they gave 2 sides and an inclusive angle in like 3 past papers I've looked in, might be different this time.

it's pretty obvious isn't it? :biggrin: whatever didn't come in the non-calculator will obviously come up in the calculator.

what would I get for the density question if I accidentely worked out 28 for the area, then timesed that by 2 instead of 200 (didnt read the question properly) but then timesed that by 8

you will probably get one mark for knowing density=mass/volume

first, i thought the area was 28 then i saw it carefully and i changed it to 24, then after this i can't really remember what i write for the answer and for the rest of the working out:eek::s-smilie::confused:

well for some of the questions i read the questions properly. But, i then done my method wrong and never checked to see if i done it right. Overall, the paper wasn't hard it was how we understood the question and showed it through working out. Most people probably done silly mistakes and said that the exam was hard. But, the exam wasn't hard, it was the silly mistakes that we did that makes us think taht exam was hard, (we were all stressed out u see and our brains didn't work properly because of all the other information (c***) that was still in our heads from the other exams)

sorry, i am going crazy because i wish i didn't make so many mistakes i would be proud of myself if i hadn't done so many mistakes:colondollar::eek:

I don't remember a histogram on it! What was it about? Was it on a double page?

there was a table about frequency and we had to solve two questions (what was the frequency of two classes) from the histogram. the histogram showed two or three bars and we had to complete the other two by working out the frequency density.

Guys...based on what I think and by having a look at this mark scheme it seems I've probably gotten somewhere between 70-76 on this paper. What would that equate to in terms of grades?

Thanks.

@Doodoo

Well, obviously some topics cant be done unless you have a calculator.
