The Student Room Group
don't know for the course and I don't go to either institution but:

Have you visited them?
Have you asked potential employers if they have any preference?
Have you talked to current students about the +/- of each?

All I know is that:
OB is a good, but new insitution, good for history of the top of my head (and many others)
L is quite well established and has a good rep for many subjects.

Loughborough has a good and improving reputation. It finally seems to be shrugging off it's rep as a sports uni and achieves very high ratings in many subjects (i know league tables should be taken with a pinch of salt but as far as I can remember the Times rated it about 10th recently and it certainly is always top 20 in their rankings most of the time). A friend of mine is there and even though it's quite a small town she's loving it.

Oxford Brookes also has a good reputation (probably the best of the ex-polys) and seems to be getting better year on year. On the whole though, I would pick Lufbra as it is seen by the majority as a "proper" uni whereas Brookes, however good it is and will undoubtedly become, still has the stigma of "ex-poly" attached to it. Oxford seems like a lovely place though.
