Well now I've revised Ontological, Religious Language, Religion and Morality and Ethical Language... (R&M as back-up topic).

I would revise Ethical Theory but Virtue ethics was completely lost on me. It wasn't explained well and knowing my luck it would come up this year.
Well, I just wrote my summaries of that on a post-it note (literally):

    - deontology - is action right/wrong? consequences don't matter
    - natural law - final cause! (consequence v. important, e.g. sex -> children). doesn't need external reference, e.g. God.
    - virtue ethics - moral virtues (e.g. truthfulness) + intellectual virtues (technical skills) = contribute to society (Aristotle). V. selfish though!

Dunno if that helps at all.

wait.. so religious experience will actually come up yes?! i'm really confused.. i've only done religious experience, religious language, meta ethics and religion and morality.. so if it doesn't come up i'm a little screwed?! ALSO, meta ethics is just emotivism intuitivism, positivism and naturalism yes?

ii Read Somewhere Else That The Ontological Argument Has Come Up Everytiime And Always On Its Own So Insha'Allah If It Comes Up I'll Do Aryt Coz I've Kinda Mastered It Now =]. And I'm Also Revising Sunni and Shia Islam, RGC's and Set Texts Because Sunni and Shia Islam and RGCs Could Be Combined Into One So Revising Set Texts Aswell .
Doesn't it take really long to type like that? It's sort of hard to read.

    (Original post by angelbones)
Why Are You Typing Like This? :eyeball:

I think Ontological is pretty much guaranteed to come up... At least, I hope so because it's the one thing I actually know well!
Good. And I'm with you on the typing.
    (Original post by Lintu93)
It's got to! They've got to set 2 questions out of Ontological, Rel Exp and Disbelief (that's athiem and the critiques) but people seem to reckon that disbelief couldn't come up by itself since there isn't much to write about. So yeah by default Ontological and Rel Exp must show up.

...Or at least, I bloody well hope so! I'm only learning Ontological
Ok good. Because I will seriously cry if it doesn't come up...

I think for this paper I'm now most worried about writing 3 good essays...
Same as me. I also did Ethical theory though. I just need to read over it a million times, make more notes on the ontological, read through religious language and metaethics all over again and look over EVERYTHING and then I'll be ready. Can't believe I've been revising since 8am. The exam had better not be hard and kill my confidence.

    I can't revise anymore, it's killing me.
Still don't feel prepared though. (Woo, last minute cram sessions in the morning!)

Think I might burst into tears if the exam is awful. I really hope I don't, I've got another exam in the afternoon, and it'll mess me up if it's bad.

Guys can someone please help me out! Ive learnt - Critiques of religion and morality, Ontological argument and religious language.
Is there a chance that one of these or even all of these could not come up atall in the exam?! Cheers!

Any chance meta-ethics and the rest won't come up?

I know they could technicaly ask separate questions on justice, law and punishment and subjectivity... but have they ever done this?

I'm praying ethical language is like the ontological argument and comes up every year

You haven't done any ethics topics!

You'll def need to learn something for above the line (ethical theory, religion and morality, ethical language, justic law and punisment or subjectivity, objectivity and the rest)

don't worry i'm still only half way through religious language ...

Majorly stressed. Done ontological argument, atheism and critiques of religious belief, religious language and religious experience, and for the Christianity side, just Bonhoeffer, which is a major gamble!

    Critiques of R&M is ethics.
Better to learn ethical theory as well though, to be on the safe side.

That is quite a gamble - hope you're ready to blag it on Liberation Theology instead!

I just found that mind-mapping everything I could remember as fast as I could has shown that more of it's gone in than I thought.
Don't know if it's enough but I need sleep now. Bit of extra cramming in the morning I think.
