its a bull**** waste of time. i got 6 marks out of both papers. Did all my chem revision during the exam

You are NOT ALLOWED a break between clashed exams.

Yes you are, and when you actually have to sit some you'll welcome it. It does have to be supervised but there's no problem with having one, when I was in year 11 we had two hour and a half papers and a 2 hour paper in one morning session and we got an hour for lunch under supervision.
