I didn't think of it being rare, until I realised I haven't actually met anyone or seen anyone who has natural blonde hair and green eyes...maybe once or twice...?

Blonde hair and green eyes is fairly rare. I think blonde hair and eyes that are anything other than blue is pretty rare.
I've got brown hair and blue eyes which is pretty standard. I henna my hair red though, which is a nice combo with blue eyes- makes them look bluer.

I know quite a few blonde people with brown eyes.

The things is... the genes that control hair colour and eye colours are completely serperate, so there isn't really a trend in that sense.
Anyone with any colour hair can have any colour eyes, depending on their parents obviously.

Mum was brunette and greeneyed before she went grey.
I'm brunette and I have blue/green eyes. - they are really blue/grey, but the yellow flecks in them make them look greeny in certain light.
