aha yeah, not the best thing when applying for Uni but oh well! :')
and with predictions like that you needn't worry! you'll easily get offers! Yep, if I get to Nottingham I'll have to ask everyone if they're Danz123 on the student room aha :')
lol, I hate arrogant people as well, so it's really good that you're modest. :] Aww, thank you :] I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money you'll get into Nottingham, so you needn't worry either. I'm Daniel by the way, and I'm 6'2, have dark brown eyes and curly black hair. I'm thinking that should narrow down your search. xD :']

Those grades are fantastic! Do you know how much emphasis they place on GCSE's? For A level my grades are similar to yours (AS: AAAAB A2 predictions: A*A*A*A) but my GCSE's were terrible, i.e I didn't even get a C in Maths (extenuating circumstances are specified, but still). I'm worried about even having a shot. Sorry to bombard you with questions, I just figured that since you have an offer you might know the process .

I don't THINK they value GCSEs particularly, althought they do specify a C in Maths at GCSE..but if you have reasons I'm sure they'll take them into account I didn't get amazingly brilliant GCSEs and your predictions and AS results are better than mine so I reckon you'll easily get an offer
from what I gathered at the Open Day, as long as your predictions meet their requirements you'll get an offer, they don't put much weight on anything else, not even the Personal Statement.

Thank you so much, I emailed them and they said that the maths wouldn't matter considering my circumstances :ahee:.

Well done again on your offer; would you consider it as one of your choices/where else are you applying to?

So do I. :[ Despite getting one already, it seems as if I'll be in for a very long wait to hear from the others.

mate seriously don't worry, AAB is no way thick that's class results if you get them! the student room is a terrible reflection of the pool of applicants to university, and many people just lie through their teeth about their predictions. don't worry, i'm sure you'll be fine. i have a friend studying philosophy and theology at nottingham who was predicted AAB and solidly got a place with no problems. so just wait and see, hopefully it'll be fine.
