Is Doing Art AND History of Art too much work for A level?

Was just wondering if anyone did/does do art and history of art for A level? I've heard its a lot of work and that most people quit one or the other due to the work amount. I am planning on doing Art, English and Politic's for A level but I'm kind of going off English as although I'm good at it it kind of bores me. So is it way to much work? especially if it was combined with politics as well? Thank you

Probably not.

Commenting on whether or not something is "too much" work is meaningless without knowing how much someone is willing to do.

art takes up the most time,

history of art should be about the same work as any other humanities a-level.
history of art doesn't involve any practical work so no. TBH history of art is piss easy, essays don't have to be long, english doesn't need to be that great and grade boundaries are really low.
