anyone got anything good to say about raleigh park?

ive seen a lot about how annoying it is to get to university park, how its not in the best area, how its antisocial (postgrads, internationals etc grouping together)
anyone stay in raleigh and love it? particularly anyone with lectures at UP?

I live at Raleigh but have lectures at Jubilee. Raleigh is an absolutely amazing hall, when you visit other self catered halls such as Broadgate you will realise how much nicer you're flat is in comparison. Also because Raleigh isn't on Campus like most of the others you get a feel for the city a lot easier, can walk into the city centre (which you can't really do at any other hall apart from SPC)

But you will only have as good a time as you want to make of it. We threw house parties all the time, got to know all our neighbours did all the events etc... so my freshers year have been absolutely unreal! As long as you're not a recluse who wants everything handed to them on a plate you will have a mad time, just go wild. Raleigh is ****ing hardcore
