Overseas/Home fees

Hi! I am a US student who is applying for UK schools. If my British boyfriend (UK citizen) and I were to get married, would I pay the home fees or would I have to wait three years to become a UK citizen and only then be able to pay home fees? Thanks for anyone who might have any ideas!!

Well I know you have to be an eu resident for at least 3 years but not sure about citizenship..checking now

In order to be classed as a 'home' student you need to have 'settled status' in the UK and have 3 years residency within the UK, EU or EEA.
so being married is irrelevant without residency

For home/eu: I know you need 3 years residency...still not found if you also need 3 years of being Eu citizen

for student finance you definitely need both
