Self Employed jobs- what sorts are available? what could i do?
I've just finish uni with a degree in biomedical sciences and have a year out before i hopefully start medicine in Sept 2012....Besides gaining useful experience for medicine, I really want to do something else...i want to earn as much as i can in this year so i wont have to worry about finance when i eventually start medicine....
i hear students buying and selling stuffs and making good profits (well business i mean!)...but i can't think of one that I could do! Thought of eBay but what would I sell?! Thats just an example...what other ideas are there? I don't have any other skills like plumbing, electrician, etc lol Please help me out peeps

It's unlikely to happen. Do you think you have great sales skills? Are you exceptionally good with women? Can you manipulate people well?
You're better off doing full-time shop work imo, if earning money is your aim. Personally I'd just get on benefits and do nothing all year, but it's up to you. -

Medicine - pharmacy work?
If you're tired of those fields then have a look at the Smarta and BusinessLink websites to get an idea of the types of small business you can set up for yourself. The basics for starting up 1. Decide on legal structure - do you want to be a sole trader, limited company, or partnership. 2. Form filling & Tax - Inform HMRC if sole trader or Companies House if wanting to go limited company route 3. Clients - advertising and marketing.

Re: Self Employed jobs- what sorts are available? what could i do?Being successful with women and in business are highly correlated, it's all the same skills of socialising and manipulation - making people come around to your point of view and do what you want them to do.(Original post by wasteman)
