GMD was lying about 600/600 in further maths it seems. On this thread he says he has an A* in A level maths but he has not yet done A Level Further Maths. And this is 3 weeks ago he has put this lool
That letter was also some sort of a forge. -
Re: GCSE Students - What subjects will you take for A-Levels?Oh wow, I'm really happy you managed to come through so well! And thank you! And to you!(Original post by L.O.V.E)
I was like you, I started AS last September at the age of 18 and I know what you mean about feeling more confident. I was a lot more willing to work hard, I had dropped out of sixth form in first year because I hated it and had no idea what subjects to do. Then I worked for a year and had time to consider what choices I wanted to make.
Beginning A levels again somewhere else was a great decision and I got 4 A grades in my January modules (History, English Lit, Psychology and Law).
Good luck

Re: GCSE Students - What subjects will you take for A-Levels?Yeah, how come people can do five? I've never had that option - the maximum at my school is 4 as far as I know. I personally think 5 would be too demanding.(Original post by Procrastination)
Why are so many people doing 5. We were informed that there was no benefit what so ever of doing 5 other that if you don't know what subjects to choose and therefor will drop one in the first couple of weeks.
I wanted to do 5; Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Instead I am going to do 4 (Drop further maths.) -
Re: GCSE Students - What subjects will you take for A-Levels?Well I like bio, english language and religous studies...(Original post by Heptapus)
Okay then, what are you passionate for? -
Re: GCSE Students - What subjects will you take for A-Levels?I wouldn't change from English to Chemistry if you are not passionate about Chemistry.(Original post by dippers)

Re: GCSE Students - What subjects will you take for A-Levels?Hey, I would suggest that you do some pre-A-level reading for maths, just so you have an idea of the things you are going to study, then the jump between GCSE and A-level won't be so big.(Original post by -Archimedes-)
People on here make me feel stupid O.o
I'm taking Maths, Economics, History & English Literature
Any advice for these subjects ? Out of the 4 I'm most concerned about Maths :3
Any pointers would be appreciated
