The Student Room Group

GCSE Students - What subjects will you take for A-Levels?

So, what is everyone in Year 11 planning to take next year?

I will talk either of the following two :

Physics, Maths, Further Maths, Economics
Physics, Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry

If I think I can handle it then I might do 5 AS levels and cut down to 4 in A2. Only time will tell.

Yes! I might be doing exactly the same haha. Pretty awesome :colone:
Maths + Further, Physics, Japanese, Music.

Expecting to see lots of enthusiastic future music students, I haven't come across many so far.

Edit: WHY IS NO-ONE DOING MUSIC?

I love the Further Maths syllabus. It's so interesting and I need to do M3 if I want to do Physical Sciences at NatSci in Cambridge.

I'm not sure tbh. The music is more of a relaxing thing because all my lessons being sciency will kill me. :lolwut:

And music is only for 5 lessons a fortnight. :h:

What would your fifth subject be?

Economics or Chemistry. Depends which one of those I take as a 4th haha. I'll have to self-study either one of those and Further Maths. Bye bye weekday evenings.

So you will only learn 4 at school?

Choose Chemistry as your fourth then because it is considered the hardest Science. :h:
