Greatest rap verse of all time?

just want people's opinions on the greatest rap verse ever. It could be because it conveys a universal truth, is lyrically awesome or just connects with you for a certain reason.

For me the first verse of rick Ross money maker is untouchable, masterfully delivered, great lyrics (god gave you life but we the repo) and speaks to me due to being brought up in a rough area where people would get murdered for a kilo

"**** A Judge Prosecutor, **** A Judge Prosecutor, **** A Judge, **** A Judge **** A Judge Prosecutor And The District Attorney Where Im For Ah Couple Kilos Ere Thing Gettin Murder Its Survival Of Fittest All These Young ****** Killing Slidin Ina New Chargers When They Pull Up They Hittin I Got Kilo God Gave Ya Life but We Can Repo Slidin Day And Night With My People Red Lazer On My Tazer And The Home Invasion It Aint No mother ****in Grazin Head Shot Head Shots Seen Them 26's So She Gave Me Headshots It Aint About Money It Aint About **** Momma Made That Money ***** Cause It Only Make Sense "

Big Pun - Firewater

Yo, I'm all about business and enterprisin'
Advisin' financial advisors on franchisin' the wider than horizons
Divisin' ideas with masterminders
Movin' on a stash of diamonds
First we get the cash, then we laugh like miners
Don't get me wrong I'm a funny bastard
But when it come to money, son, I'm not the one to laugh with
I'm after for what cash can bring me brothers
Me and my demon lovers blast and laugh at hyenas
Back to Ringling Brothers believe them others
You's the best, yet, and still
I'm investin' mils on a hunch over lunch
Puffin' on a Chesterfield, who wants to test
The real scandalous
I'm at the Sands in Los Angeles
Plannin' hits with an ananymous philanthropist
Spanish kids, close to God, like evangelists
Choppin' ****** up and makin' sandwiches....

I'd probably say R.A. The Rugged Man's verse in Jedi Mind Tricks - Uncommon Valor is my personal favourite.

True story...
Call me Thorburn, John A. Staff Sergeant, Marksman
Skilling, killing, illing
I'm able and willing
Kill a village elephant, rapin' and pillage your village
Illegitimate killers, US Military guerillas
This ain't no real war, Vietnam ****
World War II, that's a war, this is just a military conflict
Soothing, drug-abusing, Vietnamese women screwing
Sex, gambling and boozin', all the **** is amusing
Bitches and guns, this is every man's dream
I don't want to go home, where I'm just a ordinary human being
Special OP, Huey chopper gun ship, run ****
Gook run when the mini-gun spit, won't miss, kill ****
Spit four-thousand bullets a minute
Victor Charlie, hit trigger, hit it
I'm in it to win it, get it
The lieutenant hinted the villain, I've ended up killing
I did it, cripple, did it, pictures I painted is vivid, live it
A wizard with weapons, a secret mission we about to begin it
Government funded, behind enemy lines bullets is spraying
It's heating up, a hundred degrees
The enemies the North-Vietnamese, bitch please
Ain't no sweat, I'm told be at ease.
Until I see the pilot got hit, and we about to hit some trees
till the rotor broke, crash land, American man
Cambodia, right in the enemy hand
Take a swig of the whiskey to calm us
Them yellow men wearing black pajamas
They want to harm us
They all up on us
Bang, bang, bullet hit my chest, feel no pain
To my left, the captain caught a bullet right in his brain
Body parts flying, loss of limbs, explosions
Bad intentions, I see my best friend's intestins
Pray to the one above, It's raining and I'm covered in mud
I think I'm dying, I feel dizzy, I'm losing blood
I see my childhood, I'm back in the arms of my mother
I see my whole life, I see Christ, I see bright lights
I see Israelites, Muslims and Christians at peace, no fights
Blacks, Whites, Asians, people of all types
I must have died, then I woke up, suprised I'm alive
I'm in a hospital bed, they rescued me, I survived
I escaped the war, came back
But ain't escape Agent Orange, two of my kids born handicapped
*******, quadriplegia, micro cephalic
Cerebral palsy, cortical blindness, name it they had it
My son died he ain't live, but I still try to think positive
Cause in life, God take, God give

Rick Ross can suck out. It's not the best of all time but this is one that springs to mind.

Hey, Cole World, make way for the chosen one
what you now hear is putting fear in all the older ones
down played me to downgrade me like they don?t notice son
your shoes too big too fill? I can barely squeeze my toes in ?em
****ing hoes while teaching ****** to hold your sons
this the rap Moses, scratch that, Mary and Joseph?s son
high as **** with a cold flow and a loaded gun
never say I?m better than Hov, but I?m the closest one
heard you looking for trouble, what, I?m supposed to run?
yo? bitch invited me inside her, ain?t I supposed to cum?
got ****** that?ll blow your tee off, put a hole in one
now you outside of heaven?s gate, fronting like you know someone
talking hard, but y?all still ain?t push me
they say you are what you eat, and I still ain?t pussy
**** it, everybody can get it
when you?re this hot, everybody?s a critic
but when you?re this high everybody?s a midget
all this mean mugging from ****** that mean nothing
could it be my position is one that you dreamed of?
went from quarter to broke to half past rich
with my badass bitch
and you don?t want no problems on some math class ****
so check the young genius out
**** the World, bust a nut, and let my semen sprout
I thought that real **** is what you been fiending ?bout
what you been praying for? What you been screaming ?bout?
ironic you been sleeping on the one that you been dreaming ?bout
Second verse of Respect by B.I.G.

"Now I'm thirteen, smokin' blunts, makin' cream
On the drug scene, **** a football team
Riskin' ruptured spleens by the age of sixteen
Hearin' the coach scream at my lifetime dream, I mean
I wanna blow up, stack my dough up
So school I didn't show up, it ****ed my flow up
Mom said that I should grow up and check myself
before I wreck myself, disrespect myself
Put the drugs on the shelf? Nah, couldn't see it
Scarface, King of New York, I wanna be it
Rap was secondary, money was necessary
Until I got incarcerated--kinda scary
C74-Mark 8 set me straight
Not able to move behind the great steel gate
Time to contemplate, damn, where did I fail?
All the money I stacked was all the money for bail"

Says about as much about the condition of life for urban black America as five seasons of the Wire did, visionary flow, simple but effective storytelling, just perfect 16 bars imo.
"If its more than one hoe, sit back and blow me
And argue over my balls like Shaq and Kobe
Yall know me, relax twist back the droey
Yak and moey, **** around and yap ya roley
Yall don’t want problems so you give me dap to show me
Nuttin but cop lovers runnin wit Axel Foley
Yall aint got no aim buncha sloppy sprayers
Hittin up the wall more than hockey players"

Well not exactly a sentence but here's my input;

The victory is found in Truth
Like innocence found in youth
Self-defeat is your own dispute
And when you put yourself inna your own shoes
It's...Either you're winning or loosing
Don't you get it confused
Cause you're starring inna your own movie
Playing out the role you choose
So stand up and fight
If you know say you right
No, you will never fail
Tipping the scale
And the wind shall prevail
And the boat shall forever sail
Hey.. There ain't no stopping or cruising
Even when we're battered and bruised
Out run all the sprinters
On Mount Olympus
My God tougher than Zues!

And from somewhere else;

Some will get left behind
'cause in life
You can not press rewind
Get it right
You only have one first chance
To make on first impression that lasts a lifetime
Reputation supersede itself
Do you believe in hell?
Babylon greed for wealth
Do you deceive yourself and let your ego swell?
And disregard those who most need your help!

Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-air

In west Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys, they were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-air"

I whistled for a cab and when it came near the
License plate said "fresh" and had a dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought nah, forget it, yo homes to Bel-air!

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight
And I yelled to the cabby "Yo, homes smell you later!"
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-air
This may not be the greatest rap verse of all time, but it's one of my favorites. If I went through my iTunes I would probably be able to find something better but this is one of my favorite verses/songs,and because I listened to it a few hours ago,it was the one which came to mind first

Man I promise, I'm so self conscious
That's why you always see me with at least one of my watches
Rollies and Pasha's done drove me crazy
I can't even pronounce nothing, pass that versace!
Then I spent 400 bucks on this
Just to be like ***** you ain't up on this!
And I can't even go to the grocery store
Without some ones thats clean and a shirt with a team
It seems we living the american dream
But the people highest up got the lowest self esteem
The prettiest people do the ugliest things
For the road to riches and diamond rings
We shine because they hate us, floss cause they degrade us
We trying to buy back our 40 acres
And for that paper, look how low we a'stoop
Even if you in a Benz, you still a ***** in a coop/coupe

Ridiculous verse/song/album. Love it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9TAzc54IEo

The delivery is impeccable!

[Tonedeff]
Love ain't for the faint of heart
Start Training, this game is hard
And arduous, you're gonna play in the dark like when it rains in the park
You're hardly conscious of the stains and scars, enabling your partly clouded logic
To pay to impart bliss with arrangements of chocolates
Now, you're working yourself out the same as when you strain with a nautilus
And you're willing to embrace pain facing sustained negative consequence
If nothing you say when in love is embedded with common sense
Then, do you really regret when you've shredded your promises?
Now, I've tested the waters, kid. Sipped it; rippled the pond a bit
Visits have been abolished, and this ****'s killing my confidence
Is this filling your conscience when distance is an accomplishment?
If you miss chicks when they're around, the phrase "Let's quit" isn't an option
You best fix whatever's wrong and just move on and get on with it
Cause, You'll catch bigger fish in the sea if you manage not to drown in it
It's sad, but proud or not, most your standards go down a notch
When loneliness drinks at the bar you set too high
Cause, It isn't really my time, is it? ****...I just found the watch
But hearing the bell toll for me twice a day, has me fearing my grandfather clock
And I can't die without trying. My hands tied in knots
Knowing that I'll never learn to brave the waves if I stand by the docks
Love is hampered by thought, if you can handle the prospect of
Death - it's as massive a shock. And To intellects, it's a ****in' smack in the crotch
It's a cancer that rots your soul, tosses demons off of the road
Just use caution and know, that, love ain't nothing but a loss of control
Off then, we go

which of jcole's songs is this?
'It's sad, but proud or not, most your standards go down a notch
When loneliness drinks at the bar you set too high'

Unreal!
Maybe not the best rap verse, but a perfect attack on the media.

Sometimes I just feel like my father, I hate to be bothered
With all of this nonsense it's constant
And, "Oh, it's his lyrical content -
- the song 'Guilty Conscience' has gotten such rotten responses"
And all of this controversy circles me
And it seems like the media immediately
Points a finger at me (finger at me)..
So I point one back at 'em, but not the index or pinkie
Or the ring or the thumb, it's the one you put up
When you don't give a ****, when you won't just put up
With the bull**** they pull, cause they full of **** too
When a dude's gettin bullied and shoots up his school
And they blame it on Marilyn (on Marilyn).. and the heroin
Where were the parents at? And look where it's at
Middle America, now it's a tragedy
Now it's so sad to see, an upper class ci-ty
Havin this happenin (this happenin)..
Then attack Eminem cause I rap this way (rap this way)..
But I'm glad cause they feed me the fuel that I need for the fire
To burn and it's burnin and I have returned

Eminem, naturally. If this thread specified angry lyrics, I'd throw in Cleanin' Out My Closet.
