Political, emotional, requires stamina and fitness, tiring, but the most amazing sport ever!!!

Apparently, male fencers are the 3rd fittest sportspeople, after male ballet dancers and floor gymnasts...

Oh, and the tip of a foil (one of the swords) is the 2nd fastest thing in sport, after the bullet

Hi. I've been fencing for almost 8 years at Maidstone Fencing Club. I'm an epeeist and I was seeded #1 in Kent Schools U18 two years running. I'm also Maidstone epee champion. I know it sounds like I'm showing off but fencing is pretty much the only thing I'm good at so I make the most of it!

As HeatherHatter knows, we'll almost certainly meet at Aberdeen Fencing club

I'm one of the rare Sabreurs you here about in legends and old people tales...

Been fencing on and off for 3 years, came 6th in county competitions to years in a row (don't tell anyone that there were only 6 competitors ) and in the last quartile of Public Schools each year. My attendance has waned a lot over the past year at my local club after I left school and am on my gap year so got a job at a hospital *but* I think the sport is great and the fact that there aren't many fencers (let alone sabreurs!) makes it all the better! XD
