Re: The Manchester United Society VIII
I watched Dispatches - was thoroughly surprised.
Robson seemed to know quite a lot actually, and even said he'd be willing to manage from a backroom position.
The bit about 'exploiting the loan system' was bull**** though, that's what feeder clubs are for anyway. -
Re: The Manchester United Society VIII
Man United Fan wears replica shirt at Liverpool match in Malaysia
I love how he refused to wear a Liverpool shirt lol.
Eyewitnesses were reporting that he was kissing the United badge and shouting "Champions"
Rooney called him a legend for doing so.
Metro is also reporting that we've turned our attention to Ganso
Nothing is conclusively written no quotes, or sources just filled with a bunch of maybes. -
Re: The Manchester United Society VIIIperhaps several days later the rumor says that the deal is ok now ! you can't believe the message until a official confirmation !(Original post by Junaid16)
Looks like the Sneijder deal is dead in the water, can't say I'm too gutted.

Re: The Manchester United Society VIIIMight come back, Steve Coppell has a degree he got before he played for united.(Original post by Louis.)
Must be horrible for anyone to give up a career in football. Wish him all the best, maybe he can be in our boardroom in 20 years

Re: The Manchester United Society VIIIIt has provided a few gems!(Original post by xDave-)
Not a huge fan of the Community Shield.
This one is going to be big, its against City and they will want to get one up on us to state their intent for the new season. SAF will do everything in his power to stop us losing twice in a row to City. Personally I think its best if we win, I don't think City planned for having that level of silverware in their shoebox of a trophy cabinet, with the FFP rules coming buying a real cabinet could push them over the edge. -
Re: The Manchester United Society VIII
Gill was always going to find it hard to break into the team with Ferdinand, Vidic, Smalling, Evans and Jones all able to play at CB, could have probably made it elsewhere but good luck to him!
I see SAF has been talking up Cleverley, hopefully this doesn't mean that we're not in for a midfielder. -
Re: The Manchester United Society VIII
not at all, we'l definately get a midfielder. Infact Sneijder is still on the cards. Since when did Ferguson tell the media his transfer plans wrt players anyway?
The case is this: Ferguson wants him, Man Utd made an enquiry that was obviously made too public. Ferguson is now quick to reject any roumers so inter don't think they can drive up the price.
We'l get a midfielder before the charity shield and I reckon its 75% going to be Sneijder. -
Re: The Manchester United Society VIIII haven't been, but I would assume not as much as other opponents playing for his club. Arsenal is a forgotten memory, along with 99% of his sulking, Man City even more so, Liverpool I don't even remember (that was a loan wasn't it?), so Chelsea is the only notable one.(Original post by Deshi)
I have just realised that Anelka has played for Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea. Does he get booed really bad at OT?
Maybe I'm wrong, but due to Fergie and Mourinho's relationship, and both clubs being moneybags, I don't think the rivalry is bad natured. Drogba's celebration in front of Man City fans didn't do any harm. -
Re: The Manchester United Society VIII
So Javier Pastore is apparently likely to be on the move for E40m.
I've never seen him play a full match but naturally that doesn't stop me becoming profoundly aroused at the thought of a skinny Argentine veroning around the United midfield. -
Re: The Manchester United Society VIIIPastore & Banega will be huge successes wherever they go I reckon. Look the real deal imo.(Original post by jose)

Personally see Pastore comming in to Inter and Sneijder hopping to us. I would like to see us take a risk and opt for Pastore instead though, we already have a playmaker in Rooney off the striker.
