Re: AQA GCSE Geography Spec B Paper 2: Hostile World - 17th JuneIt wasn't too bad, but I may have dropped around 10 marks maybe? How was it for you?(Original post by I'll.Be.Back)
Woo! :')
Somebody who did the same paper as me!
How did you find it? And on which questions did you encorporate
Case Studies?
I barely used Case Studies expect for the first question describing the movement of plate boundaries to cause a volcanic eruption and on the question to describe the effects of tropical storms I said Hurricane Katrina caused a 12-18ft storm surge...that's about it. Did you use any? -
Re: AQA GCSE Geography Spec B Paper 2: Hostile World - 17th JuneI thought the exam went well. Were you told to amend a question before the exam, in my school everyone took the opportunity to read through the questions in advance(Original post by Blob2491)
How did you find the exam?

Re: AQA GCSE Geography Spec B Paper 2: Hostile World - 17th Junelol true, I really want to get an A* in geography.(Original post by Blob2491)
Nah, we're doing Globalisation...both topics sound pretty boring making last minute cramming even more difficult
I got 58/60 in the controlled assessment
so I have a chance.
But tourism has always been my weakest topic, perhaps because we learnt it in just 4 weeks. -

My advice would be to look at the specification and tick off all the topics you know while going through it. Is your exam this Friday?
Good Luck!
