I noticed the mistake, and pointed it out, then our latin teacher was called in, who then phoned the exam board. I keep hearing about all these mistakes in exam papers this year, it was pretty cool to experience one...though it didn't effect me too much!

I am. How did you find the exam?
aha well really annoyed that i learnt tacitus of by heart and then vaguely learnt cicero. so failed the translation >< think the style and thinks were ok-ish. I'd be surprised with anything less than a B and I did get an A* in the mock so i dunno =P and for how is tacitus a good storyteller - completely bullsxxxxed my way through that xD

    what about you?

You'll be fine. If you're doing HT Latin, you'll probably get at least an A, maybe a B

    Ah right

I did section B, but because I never really had time to check my paper thoroughly, I was worried I may have missed something.

Is there a section A and B for tomorrow too?

I did Latin GCSE a few years ago. I didn't do any revision at all, especially for this paper. In fact, one question asked why Baucus and Philemon stopped walking at the end of the path, my answer was 'they ran out of batteries?'. And on a long answer response to Why was Horace's work amusing I just put 'It isn't.'.

Needless to say I did pretty badly, don't follow my lead kiddies ;-)

why are they timed so awkwardly!? I thought exams were at 9 or 1.30, and that was it :L

    That just seems so unfair^^

They're both at 1:15 so they clash. People doing history and latin have a 5 minute 'isolated' break after latin before history so that your friends who have already sat the history exam can't tell you the questions.
Really suckish, my friends have to do it...
Glad I chose geography over history!

Oh I see. I think that's really stupid on the exam boards' part as latin lit and history are two very intense exams really; lots of writing!
Yeah I did geog over history too, although I do miss history
