Thinking of getting a number 9, but I'm not sure how I'd place it so it doesn't look like a 6. It wouldn't be for a while anyway because I'm not 18 yet and I think it'd best to get it done in winter so it doesn't get sun damaged.

That will look sooo beautiful when it's shaded and coloured in

I don't think it needs colouring in, it already looks rad.

I think it at least needs a bit of shading, in the roses if nowhere else. Looks unfinished to me. Awesome, but unfinished.

Weirdly enough, this just popped up on my dashboard:

    I can't tell if it's photoshopped.

It's real, I think it's done by a tattooist named Saira Hunjan, she works at/use to work at Good Times Tattoo.

    Hey all,

So this would be my 3rd tattoo. It's the 4 birth month flowers of me, my sister and my parents and it was drawn by a friend. I want it in colour but worried too much yellow will look gary - what do you think? I want it on my left side, quite big running from under my armpit to my hip.

I think such a detailed piece can only have justice done to it with colour, especially with them being flowers, but my other 2 are black/grey so a bit tentative :/

    Thanks
    Sal

I believe greyscale is probably better to get that kind of detail.

Hi all! I got a tattoo today (in Slovakia) and I (foolishly) bought some Vaseline from the drugstore to put on it because I couldn't find any antibacterial lotion or sudo cream substitute.. Now I've heard Vaseline draws the ink out and the only other cream I have is normal body lotion and moisturiser for my face.. Will it be ok til morning when I can properly search for some (proper) cream??

I knew I was getting the tattoo & I needed a name so I got myself a copy of Memoirs of A Geisha & fell in love with the name, Pumpkin and I guess I did like the character too!

My mum just did this on someone today, got a feeling it isnt finished though.
the work in the backgroud isnt hers, just the foo dog...the customer has some horrible tribal stuff going down the middle and right of his back so he's asked her to do whatever she can to fix it. He asked for a cover up with japanese stuff but that would have been impossible.

Just thought I'd share some of my favourite UK tattoo artists' work. I would absolutely love some beautiful tattoos from each of these artists in the future.

    Tracy Demetriou: http://www.missbettybones.com/
    Rachel Baldwin: http://modernbodyart.co.uk/tattoos/rachel-mccarthy/
    Nick Baldwin: http://www.gunghotattoo.com/tattoo-artists/
    Guen Douglas: http://guendouglas.com/

Although these tattoos are more to my taste and maybe not others, but seriously, check them out!
