Re: what to wear for WE..Plain shirt, smart trousers and smart shoes (preferably black for both the trousers and shoes, and give 'em a polish). Oh, and im not sure if you wear jewelry or not, but keep it minimal, same with make-up.

Re: what to wear for WE..If you are in an office you should generally assume that you should dress relatively smartly. For girls, black trouser and a jumper or shirt or smart top should be fine, as is a smart skirt (not too short) or dress. Minimal jewelery and make up etc.
It's always better to be too smart on the first day and then dress down a little if you need to.
