Hello Claire!

I am from Austria and new to all of this. I received an unconditional offer on the 10th January, but still am waiting for my other choices.
The thing is, I do want to find out if I can still get offers from the other choices, but I read here that most of the accomodations are sold out in Huddersfield.
Should I accept the offer already and get a room already?

You can book the room now anyway as accommodation isn't run by the university here, if that helps any.

Hello everyone,

This is Katherine. I'm struggling with pop degree or pop music and music technology degree.

For the pop and music tech degree, it sounds more professional and specialised. However, I'm afraid it's too heavily focused on tech and ignore the performance part. Meanwhile, though pop degree can concentrate on performance, its degree is not as music tech and pop professional.

I aimed at to be an well-rounded musician from performance, singer-songwriter and music production. Which degree do you think it's much suitable for me?

BTW, can you tell me the difference between the solo performance and Popular performance? And the difference between these courses?

Can anyone tell me why I may have had a deferred application for an extra month for child nursing? The email said they were very impressed with me however they are making no decision at this time as they need an extra month!!! Or has this happened to anyone else? Please help x

Hi!

I have received a conditional for physiotherapy 2013, I'm worrying about applying for finance.

I understand you get nhs bursaries, but it can be supplemented by student finance, I've gathered you don't apply for nhs untill you have your results? When should I be applying for funding from student finance?

Its so confusing! Does anyone else who is getting nhs funded know?

Set up by current university students, you can find out everything you need to know about the university & town as well as meet new freshers and find people on your course.

Hello,

I have a few questions, if i get accommodation at storthes can i move into other accommodation later on in the year? in other words is it a fixed contract.

Also i thought the august rent was taken out of your maintenance loan, is this true?

Finally i read that you are supposed to receive information from the uni about freshers' week etc but I haven't received it yet.
