    Secondary PGCE Mathematics research
Hello. I am looking for three secondary Mathematics PGCE student teachers that are willing to take part in a 20 minute telephone interview as part of a research project focusing on student teachers' views of: (a) their PGCE programme; (b) pedagogy, and teaching and learning; and (c) potential products and services that could be made available to future student teachers.

All interviews will be anonymous and will be made available for factual verification by the interviewee. At the present time, the research brief stretches only to three student teachers, and will therefore be arranged on a first-come-first-served basis. Any additional interested student teachers will be asked if they would would be happy to be considered for contributing to possible interviews or focus groups in September/October 2011.

If you are interested, please email maths2002-research@yahoo.com for further details.

    Many thanks,

Stefan Burkey, independent researcher, and education and training consultant.

Re: Secondary PGCE Mathematics research - update
    Dear all,

Many thanks for your emails. It has been suggested that the time commitment required to take part in this research opportunity is a problem for many. I have therefore arranged that I am now able to provide interviewees with a £50 high street voucher as compensation for the time and inconvenience required to take part in the interview.

Should you wish to take part in this research, please email me at maths2002-research@yahoo.com

Those already interviewed will also be receiving the vouchers as compensation, and I will be emailing them directly today.
