Edexcel Maths/FM

Basically, I've been doing Edexcel double maths over year 12/13. Now I hear that the modules can be in any order and put into any a level (except FP1/2 and C1-4), but I was wondering if it is possible to put a '2' applied module in single maths, and a '1' applied module in further maths (i.e. have M2 - I didn't perform great - in single maths and M1 - which was better - in further). Does anyone have any experience/help?

No.
To use M2 in Maths you'd also have to include M1 in Maths
Edexcel will automatically use your results in the optimum allowable combinations to give you your best grades.
