How did you find UEA & Anglia Ruskin interviews went? They are both my top choices. Really nervous! What was their interview process like? For example, groups talks and tests.

I hope my nerves don’t get the best of me. I truly enjoy caring and can’t wait to be an adult nurse

Th presentation at the beginning was about an hour. The actual
Interview was around 20 mins so wasn't that long.

Had an interview with South bank yesterday, they said I would know in 24 hous the outcome and still haven't heard I am so worried....

Also anyone who has been to Northumbria and been asked for references, how long was it after you sent it off before they made a final decision????

At first you go into the room and theres about 14 of you there, the lecturer does a little power point and they then spilt you into groups, just two groups.they then five you a case study for example: Robert has dementia and is refusing help, what would do?. And then in your groups you have to present it to the other group. you then have to wait and they call you in one by one to have your seperate interviews. They ask you 5 questions. i think it went ok!

Is this for UWE? What questions did they ask you?

They told me 5-10 days but I heard about 2pm the next day.

Glad i'm not the only one who found it really tough! you may be suprised - I certainly was.

....They southampton one went really well, the group activity was nice. Everyone in my group took it in turns to make points and listen to each other which was good sorry to hear you got rejected... I'm still waiting to hear but they said around 2 weeks!

You have absolutely nothing to worry about Brighton they were the nicest one I've been to for interview so far! The interview was more of an informal 'chat' they asked how i got to brighton and about my job as a dental nurse. They were also very encouraging with the questions and made me feel at ease!

There was no group discussion for brighton just individual interviews and a short maths and english paper (which was the easiest i've had at a uni so far) lol.

For tips... Make sure you dress smart, arrive early and bring ALL you photocopies and originals of documents as some people didn't and it didn't look too good. Smile at the interviewers and make conversation as they did chat to us before we were interviewed too but just casually asking where we were from etc.

Chat to the other people there as it shows your confident and friendly/polite. Don't talk if the interviewers are (all common sense stuff)! ALSO... don't wear nail varnish or big earrings lol.. I know it sounds silly but just think of what nurses are allowed.

Not sure for city london to be honest.. don't want to give potentially wrong info so maybe ask someone else who's already been interviewed?

Not sure what i should do now? because i don't want to do the diploma, but I still like the look of sheffield hallam, so any suggestions on what to say to them? why am i such a muppet lol!

Same thing happened to me , I applied to study adult nursing at Greenwich, I clicked on DipN instead of the BSC in nursing for May intake 2012
I received a letter from them saying that I was unsuccessful but it mite be becos of the DipN I applied for which is phrasing out
I can't wait to Spk to them on Monday to find out feed back of why I was unsuccessful
It is my last option
