Why are there more and more Caucasian girls with bigger hips these days?

I have noticed that there are starting to become more and more girls with larger hips/bums these days. It always used to be black girls who had the larger bums, but now it's starting to be more apparent among the younger Caucasian women. Can anyone explain this? Is it exercise? Diet? Because most of these girls have slim waists, so I don't understand it!

I've heard the opposite; that on average women are less 'hippy' and carrying more around the middle these days.

Er, are you sure this is actually a new thing? How long ago did "these days" start?
When you say these days are you simply referring to the fact that the girls in your school are curvier now than they were a couple of years ago? That's down to puberty, nothing more nothing less.

Wider hips doesn't equal a big butt dude. A big butt means your butt is you know, actually big as in sticks out etc. I've yet to see this occurring among Caucasian women. What you seem to be describing is that Caucasian women are becoming more pear-shaped and less hour glass.

It was while i was walking up stairs. It made me giggle but made me come to realisation i am one of 'those caucasian girls with a big bum'. aha
