How hard is it to start a company like Facebook or Google?

If you've got an idea but no means to implement it (i.e. programming, databases, html knowledge etc.), then your going to need to find a partner who knows about these things. I severely doubt you could learn the skills required to create a "google or facebook" in any decent amount of time.
