Hey.. question about a Pharmacy degree ...if you get a Pharmacy degree in the UK, does this qualify you to work in the UK only? Or would you be able to work in other countries? For example the south of Ireland?

Oh gaad, please no early starts/ very few early starts. The tube in the morning is an absolute nightmare.

Lol I just meant with no debt from accommodation

Hey just letting you know I got another UCL email. Ohh myy gaad starting to feel nervous/excited.
Also I noticed there is the Welcome fair/freshers fair on Thursday and Friday.. I wonder why that is. Is it the same thing? But i suppose we'd have to go to the Friday one because they have a Pharmacy talk at the same time on the Thursday one.

Hi, yeah I got it last night, ah they organised a little treasure hunt for us that is pretty sweet .

Yeah we seem to have a lot of talks over the week and one in Bloomsbury theatre, need to check out on google where that it is, but I think the Freshers fair is the same just over 2 days though.

I know what you mean, feeling excited but so nervous as well!

the welcome fair is pretty much just a day in which you get to sign up for the socieities and clubs that you would like to become a member of. They give you a free trial before you pay your membership fee to see if its a society you would like to join  can't wait to see you then

UCL was just pointless on monday. The first transition programme was a little boring and didn't have any use for me. The second lecture was even worse! Half the time was just spent on telling us what they were going to tell us tomorrow. Waste of a day, anyhow you got to meet and chat around with all the people so that was ok.

Loads of talks, and most of it is just stuff being repeated over and over, especially if you went to the open day on the interview.

I know! Gahh it's getting a bit dull sitting in that freezing theatre.

Also do you feel a little left out from the main UCL campus?

Yea definitely. There seems to be a lot more socialising and entertainment at UCL. But the school has always been detached and did function on its own.
Btw, what was the student union events like? I didn't have the patience to listen around to the higher years so I'd left early, after free lunch of course
