Thank you. Although the entire series isn't that great the opening definitely is.

'L's Theme' is a classic from the Death note anime. Sorry if that's predictable, but it's true.
    Definitely.
Speaking of, I wasn't aware until lately that Hideki Tanuichi, half the sound team for that show, was in charge of a certain other anime series I've been enjoying...

When I had "Hideki Tanuichi" on shuffle I had L's Theme come up and it was only then it hit me that it was so similar. Also explains why I like that Kaiji song so much I guess!
I also only recently realised Shiro Sagisu is a really good composer. Earlier Bleach soundtracks are lucklustre and it's all I attributed him to. But wait a second...

Oh hi I didn't know you were responsible for one of the greatest soundtracks I've ever been pleasantly surprised by. So I found this as a result:

I guess Espada onwards actually saw cooler stuff get produced. I feel bad naysaying before now.

    Fun times, no?

I didn't post the OP, there's a separate thread for that, so I've been trying to stick to BGM and insert themes. :p: Have to say I loved both the series and the OP though, personally.

While I'm here, I recently watched Kemono no Souja Erin, and that has some great music.

I didn't enjoy the soundtrack too much. I did like You though, which I think was in the anime (I get all of it crossed over and messed up urrgh)

I reckon Soul Eater has a brilliant soundtrack & who can't fall in love with the music in Nodame? But Cowboy Bebop has got to take first prize for me...really excellent music in both the series & the movie

Also the Howl's Moving Castle Theme, see someone's posted it below, always cheers me up :o:

Soul Eater has some of the best openings and endings for the record, but yeah I like the original soundtrack too. It's just weird enough while really upbeat where it needs to be and such. It's fitting and well done.

I loved Toshiro Masuda's work in the original Naruto episodes, also the music from Tsubasa Chronicle and the Spanish-influenced music in Bleach by Shoji Meguro.

I love the Laputa soundtrack. Perhaps because I was lucky enough to catch it on telly as a child (before it was castle in the sky). So its perhaps more magical to me than it would otherwise have been.
