Ask a beaver.

Seriously though:

(ln14)2=(ln1ln4)2=(ln4)2-(ln\frac{1}{4})^2=-(ln1-ln4)^2=-(ln4)^2

If that really is simplying...

(ln0.25)2=(ln4)2=(2ln2)2=4(ln2)2 -(\ln 0.25)^2=-(-\ln 4)^2=-(-2\ln 2)^2=-4 (\ln 2)^2

Wolfram says it doesnt simplify http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=-%28ln%280.25%29%5E2%29

however, if it was -ln(0.25^2) it would simplify to ln(16) which is 4ln(2)

edit: I say it doesnt simplify, it probably does, but I dont fully understand most of the options given, other peoples answers may be better.
