It's completely normal! I've never experienced but a lot of my friends have and they're really open about it! You're lucky you just heard it and didn't walk in on them!
When a friend of mine was younger, she shared the same room as her parents so she used to hear them having sex while she was in bed trying to go sleep! :eek4:

ive heard my parents before. i heard them once on my sixth birthday when i got up really early because i was excited. i didnt go in the room but my mum sounded like she was in pain so i shouted through the door at my stepdad to stop jumping on my mum! Litle did i know how right i was. i also heard them when i was 16, and it suddenly became all to clear what was going on all those years ago!

I can't imagine only being 15 years younger than my parents, but I guess it would be quite cool to grow old together.

Who knows, maybe some time in the far future you and your parents may be collecting your pensions together :tongue:
