Oh okay right I get that now. I found a calculator the other day which worked out how much I'd have to lay (that's the bit I don't understand) so I could just use that instead and then use whichever match I wanted?
pretty much I guess, you'll want someone experience so look over what I said because I only started 3 days ago and only made 6 bets.

Well I think FTO only checks certain markets and just picks certain matches, like you see the qualifiers tell you you'll lose 3 quid of a 10 quid bet which is terrible. I think if you did it manually you could find other matches that mean you lose tiny amounts in qualifying bets. Not sure though.

What Wasted Wrath said is right. Basically, doing it manually, you're able to look at all the markets, and use In-Play betting. You're going to find much better matches because of this, which leads to less loss (and possibly profit) on qualifying bets, and a larger percentage of return on a free bet. The calculator will just work out what lay stake you need in order to produce the same results, no matter which bet wins.

I was reading up on FTO the other day, and there was someone with the same username as you on another forum, with other users claiming that you were an employee of FTO and just encouraged people to sign up by telling them what they wanted to hear.
To be honest, I'm not surprised - A few people on here have been accused of working on behalf of FTO.

If you were on the other matched betting thread at the beginning of the year, you'll remember that there was a lot of spammers and trollers from FTO competitors who were claiming that anyone who spoke positively about FTO were working on behalf of them, etc. Some even resorted to continually post porn on the thread until people stopped stalking about FTO - yes, there are some very sad, unhappy people out there.

It's also interesting to see people who have literally signed up within the past few months and immediately start an offensive on FTO - whereas I've been a member of TSR almost since it started... way before FTO was even invented...

Putting simply, just because I'm an advocate of FTO, that doesn't mean that I work for them..

P.s. Employee? I can only wish - if FTO want to give me a job, I'd take it right now.

Indeed! I think from now on, I'm going to do what the French media are doing (i.e. they're not allowed to mention Twitter, Facebook, etc!)

So... I would strongly recommend a certain website that allows you do matched betting and make free money!

Subbing this thread, big fan of FTO, but now I've ran out of offers I've started doing it partially myself though now, using http://www.freebets4all.com/matcher.aspx And it seems to be treating me well!

    I love matched betting.

Having taken on board Wasted Wrath's comments, I went searching for how I could do matched betting without FTO and came across this website: http://www.freebets4all.com/

They have a matched betting calculator to work out how much you would have to lay if you have found your own match, but best of all is their Automatcher, I dont think that it searches everything, but it does appear to be producing better matches that FTO, although I have only used it twice so far. This site also offers cashback from a lot of the sites, paid by cheque, although I will stick with Quidco where I can.

If other people have used this site or are going to try it please post

Edit: liamcol123 has already said about it  I'll leave this up though.

That's fair enough - I used other matched betting matchers that FTO didn't cover - although they do seem to be getting better..

If you tried FTO's foreign currency ones? i.e. Euro offers?

I've practically ran out of pound offers, perhaps because it's not the footie season, so I've turned to Euro offers which seem to be doing pretty well.

Euro offers?! How do you get on there?! Can't believe I havn't seen it aha. Yeahhh I'd rather FTO just had every offer out there, it's more effort doing it by myself

On new offers, there's a box called 'currency selector' on the right hand side..

If you click the Euro flag, it should bring up the Euro offers... Hence the reason why they advertise they make for their users in £ as well as having a separate figure for Euros...

I must admit, they really should of made it clear as to how you can access it.. I only knew when I noticed it had changed on the old site. Having said that, I've just had a look today, so they might be refreshing the offers or something..

Anyway.. Going to do 188Bet offer now...

Ah, weirdly I've just logged back in to check my 188 job, and now there's 6 new euro offers.. perhaps it was a glitch.

Also and I know I've mentioned this in the other thread, but it's perhaps more relevant here - I've received my £10 cheque from FTO today for referring a friend!

Going to cash it in tomorrow, but it's definitely promising and a great way to earn a bit extra

Already have and they said that they were looking in to it, but it's not available at the moment...

That was last week, so by the time you get yours through, you'll probably get better luck with them!

I have been looking into this for sometime and can say that you can make a lot lot more money by buying the RacingPost on the weekend because all the bookmakers increase the bonuses with codes in there which are 2x or 3x larger than you can get at fixtheodds. It is only KeyStage 3 maths you back and you lay the same thing for equal stakes and that is it really they have tried to baffle you into thinking it is more than that. Learn the maths which is very very simple, buy a copy of the Racing Post, and you will never look back the difference between those offers and the offers from FTO may be £500 to £1000 which is pretty sick.

OR at least use a decent cashback site such as Quidco or Topcashback for the big highstreet names or TheGamblingTimes for the lesser known bookies. You can make £200, £300, £400 or more. Probably more than the total profit FTO will bring.

In my opinion if you are VERY lazy and cant grasp basic GCSE maths then use FTO but you will make only Y profit. If you have a head on your shoulders and a bit of ambition look into the alternatives and you will make X profit month in and month out. X is much larger than Y.
