Learning Python - where to begin?

What do you think would be the best book/website for learning python?

So far I know of:
- Learn Python the hard way
- Think Python, How to think like a computer scientist
- A byte of Python
- Learning Python (O'Reilly)
- Dive into Python
- The various python wikis and tutorials: TheNewBoston, The Python tutorial, the non-programmers tutorial, etc.

But I don't know where to begin! Which would be best to look at first? Suggestions welcome!

Thank you for your time

Several of my students have used this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Python-Programming-Absolute-Beginner-Dawson/dp/1435455002/ and said it's a really good intro.

When I went to the Cambridge open day on last Friday I spoke to a Comp Sci undergraduate in his 3rd year @ St John's.
He recommended that I should learn Python (I said I was trying to learn C++ and he told me not to) via learn python the hard way. I have to say it's very simple, and makes you look stuff up on your own rather than spoon feeding you all of the way so I would also recommend learning Python via Learn Python the Hard Way.
Hoped that helped.
