I used to smoke very occasionally when my best friend did - we'd go to the smoking area in clubs and she'd give me one of her ciggarettes, mainly so I had something to do etc etc. However, I could never understand how I'd end up going from that to actually wanting to go and out buy a packet of cigarattes to smoke. There was nothing about it that made me want to do it again particularly, it just felt like breathing hot smelly air tbh....

Re: Why do people smoke?Okay I'm one of these idiots who smokes occasionally, like if I'm out with friends and get the urge to buy some cigarettes (maybe because I've been drinking) or sometimes if I've felt stressed or mad. The reason I do it is because it calms me down and it sort of feels good. I'm monitoring myself because if I ever feel addicted I will stop straight the way. I used to think smoking was disgusting but don't knock it 'till you've tried it. :P
