oh dear  are they all due around the same time? I'm hoping to get it sent off asap as I don't want to be changing and then going back and rewriting what I'd already written. This has all suddenly got a bit exciting, incredibly stressful but so exciting!!!

gonna start workin on my assignemt soon but just wanted to add that i'm glad you're finding the thread supportive, swtb - shame your course mates aren't as supportive...how come? - must add that most of mine have been really good! (and they're as supportive of the ones going local that they are in direct competition with, as they have been with me going to scotland)

so far as going insane is concerned, i think my present workload is gonna do for me - make way for the nuthouse! lol

right...gonna have another 30mins of downtime an then get cracking...

am hoping katie and ehay heard back too, today. let us know what's happenin guys!

incidentally swtb? i really like dundee's questions. the best one by far, so far! if that's any indicator of the degree/institution - no wonder it's well respected for SW. not that the others aren't (before someone shouts at me lol)

well, katie. don't be down just yet. cos remember, we've all got thru to strath so i'd be surprised if we don't all make it thru to 2nd stage with the rest of em.

wait n see what happens, chick

and anyways, i'll be happy when ONE place (either/and or strath/GCU) gimme an actual place! i keep thinking i may be getting thru but that doesn't mean i'll get a place

fingers crossed for all of us again and here's hoping u hear soon as well, katie

Ano, ano, just gutted that everyone else seems to kinda be hearing! Makes me feel like if a do get into the 2nd stage I'm kinda in the last resort pile!!

I'm sure you'll get a place in either! Or get you're choice of both!!xx

don't do all niters. it leaves u exhausted! tho i doubt anyone here is silly enuff to do that, cept me

katie, stop thinking like that at once, at ONCE i tell ya - no such thing as last resort pile on this degree. i am sure that u will hear from em soon.

an thanks, would be nice to think i'd get both but i messed up strath so tis unlikely. never mind tho.

    Re: Social Work Applicants 2012
    Hey!

I started a thread last year for applicants to SW and I had no luck whatsoever, only posted on the thread twice as I'm crap with keeping up with them.
So, I've applied for SW again this year and I'm currently doing a HNC in Social Care. Applied to RGU, GCU, Dundee, Stirling and Strath. Again.
I've sent back the questions to Stirling and Dundee and I have an interview for RGU. Heard back from Strath too but I can't be assed with their application and they seemed a bit too serious for me so I'm gonna cancel it on UCAS.
Has anyone heard back from GCU? I hate this whole process, I'll be gutted if I don't get at least one offer this year!

    Thanks

    Thanks
Hi I've applied to the same uni's as you and so far I've done additional questions for Strathclyde, Stirling & Dundee. When did u hear from RGU about your interview? When is it? I haven't heard anything from them other than the acknowledgement email when I applied

    Good Luck
