I'm very confused by Bristol, I got an e-mail earlier saying my application was still under consideration and may not be processsed until after jan 15th blah blah blah - I then noticed the link to the Bristol website vip thing so signed in to see what it was and read a bit about it to, which I was greeted by a message saying i'd, regretfully, been rejected by the university for my application in Biochemistry So i was a bit upset and awaited an update from UCAS. nothing came through so i've just checked the Bristol website again and the message saying i've been rejected has disappeared..

Got an email today saying they were considering my application, with the opportunity to sign onto the 'VIP' section for info about open days etc. As soon as I signed onto the website they apologise but say they can't offer me a place on the course and my application wasn't successful. Absolutely gutted. Just waiting for track to be updated, but what a weird system to reject somebody - within an hour of sending an email with 'considering your application' on. Argh.

EDIT: After seeing Legendrew's status, I checked again and my 'rejection' has also disappeared. WTF?

Here's what it said, still loaded up on the phone thank god.
I'm not going to get my hopes up again that I've got an offer, but still, this is all very strange.
