Re: St Andrews Applicants 2012Economics is rated very highly I think and it's one of the most competitive subjects (after IR and medicine, I think).(Original post by Eldedu)
How would you, biased misleading dogs that you are, rate St. Andrews for economics?
Also is there PPE or anything similar? Cheers.
Nope, St Andrews doesn't do PPE. You could do joint honours in philosophy and economics though. -

Re: St Andrews Applicants 2012Thank you for the link, I will definitely check this out! I was thinking about Cambridge earlier but I am not sure because of the fees. I am also interested in Edinburgh.(Original post by Sappho)

Hi
Can't wait to visit and apply to St Andrews. Wanting to do French and other languages which I've not decided on yet but probably Spanish and German. I got AABBC in my Highers, do you think that's good enough for StA? :/ The entry requirements state AABB but I don't know... Might be getting one of those Bs changed to an A as well!

Hey
Probably applying for German and IR, but not sure because of the competition: though I know my ps, when finished, could be kind of good (at least I hope; because I've had some international experiences and such) I have no idea for my grades as in France we don't get predictions... :/ What's the deal with this third subject thing anyway ? Does it mean I could take, for example, an History module as well ?
The teaching is fantastic and I hear it's a really good course.
