I can't remember exactly, as it was my friend who stayed there, but they were some short stay apartments near Tower Bridge.

Most likely it will be the apartments near Tower bridge operated by Think Accommodation. That's where they put up the SW people anyway.

I aim to do some cold calling/emailing for work experience in trading over the summer period and am in need of some assistance. Can anybody offer me advice on how I should execute this and any firms which are receptive to such an approach. I have compiled a list of commodity/trading houses and some investment managers with a trading arm but I really need help on the approach I should take.

Can anybody help/advice me please, I would be extremely grateful..

    Thank you in advance.

Try and email people who go to your Uni/old School, as oppose to HR.

I had 2 interviews this morning for IT Business Analysis. Asked them to reschedule for today, after my exams finish.

Lol, some people just get another internship and go for another job role in a different bank etc...

There would be so many different options tbh, very diverse.

I guess there will be some who are successful and don't take the offer of further work, so its not so clear cut.

Many of my friends in the year above who completed internships are now working for different firms. Reasons vary as to why they didn't get a full time offer; sometimes simply that there was no head count.

I guess the experience you get from that bank is a great asset on your CV and will work in your favour, 99% of the time, when applying to other institutions.
