Find a team that is overpowered for it's star rating, like Napoli used to be before everyone figured out how to play against them. I mainly used Napoli, AC Milan and Liverpool. Also, yeah, possession style of football is the best. Counterattack only works usually when you're a goal up, and high pressure is only worth it if you're down a goal in the last quarter, otherwise it's too fast paced and I think you lose the ball too easily. Possession frustrates opponents and slowly you can see gaps opening within a team as your better players make good movements. Napoli were fantastic after you went a goal up, Milan made it very hard to concede, and with Liverpool, I played a ridiculous 3-4-3, more of a 3-1-3-3. Try long shots, I use a lot of long shots, generally pretty effective with the better players. In terms of defence, always set out primarily not to concede in the first half. This works well with the possession tactic, because then in the second half they tire quicker than you and you can then hit them hard.

By the way, yeah, I do think that there's this whole momentum thing. One time I was Madrid, and this guy was Milan, and I had 43 shots over the time period, hit the post 4 times, two of which were a shot that hit the post, rolled across the line, hit the other post, and then was hacked out, and lost 2-1, I conceded an own goal and he had this massive deflection which literally dribbled in. Also, in the three seasons I didn't get promotion, I was only one point off each time, and it was the same Division (4).
    what's this? online or offline?

You trade. Although, it's very difficult with the market crashing big time.

I've spent the past day just scraping wins in the 90th minute with inter. I think that's got to be one of the best ways to win a match, winning it 1-0 or 2-1 with a 90th minute winner, especially when the opponent had so many chances to score and you've basically just defended your way through.

If you have someone as a friend you can send each other coins/cards through trade offers.

Just by a show of +1/-1, who would like to see an IF Pato on FUT12? I was talking with some friends, as I remember him on FUT11, and he was awesome.

In Pato's case, IF refers to "Injured Forever".

I realise he is undeserving of it, I just wanted to know if anyone thinks that having one would be cool. I almost exclusively use Brazil teams, so I thought perhaps others would like to see one.

I've become obsessed with 1-0 wins. You know, score in the first half, preferably right from kick-off, and just stifle for the rest of the game. :awesome: Doesn't happen as often as I'd like, though.

I have been in Div 2 for ages and even when I won my first 4 matches convincingly the 'momentum' then seemed to go against me and I lost every game afterwards through random AI error

loving my Ultimate Team atm but can't decide on my CB/GK pairing. Do I go for Ferdinand/Luiz/Cech, Ferdinand/Lucio/Cesar or Lucio/Samuel/Cesar. Any input?
