I find myself scoring own goals just so the opponent doesn't quit when I'm winning, but I still thrash 'em:awesome:

Glad to see the interest that we're getting.

I have this glitch, where whenever I play unranked head-to-head all the names for my players have changed on all the teams. So like "Rowe-Turner" is Ronaldinho, and "Davis" is David Villa. Some players don't even have a name anymore!

    Anyone know a fix?

Just unlocked the 'Fifa for Life' achievement by spending 50 hours on the pitch. Winning.

I'm not that bothered about quitters, whilst it is annoying, you get awarded a 3-0 win if they quit. You just jump into another game (after sending them a few boasting messages).. What is annoying is when someone goes 1-0 up against you and then proceeds to pass the ball around his back four for the next eighty minutes... that usually makes me quit.

I play FIFA 10 on PS3 all the time, but it is really starting to frustrate me. If I go 2-0 up 3/4 times the opponent will pause the game at kick off then it says "connection with your oponent has been lost". I know this isn't a genuine connection problem because of how consistent it is with the whole going 2-0 up thing. Sometimes there are genuine connection problems, if there's lag all through the game, the opponent is winning well and suchlike.

It isn't that often I manage to win games, or go up so it is annoying that i can never finish a game as soon as I start winning. Why are people such sore losers that they can't finish a game when they are losing? Have they never seen football, and epic comebacks? I throw away leads all the time and it just frustrates me I can't finish a game.

I get bored of playing the CPU because you can predict what they are going to do all the time, and I don't have any friends who are into football AND like Fifa AND have a PS3, so I can't play them. I just want to play a full game of FIFA, whether I win or lose the match

PSN name is johngebreadman, for anyone who wants a few games sometime, don't have 11 though as I am way too cheap, and its's not long till 12 anyway
So glad I'm not the only one that's annoyed by this, its like fifa online is full of stroppy 10 year olds that I can imagine throwing their controller out the window when a game doesn't go their way! Its got to the point where if I'm like 2-0 up and in a decent position to get more, I actually hold back a bit in an attempt to actually get to the end of the game knowing that another goal might make them quit, cause a win when the opponent quits halfway through never feels as good and its annoying how in those instances the game just goes straight to the menu with no way of watching highlights of great goals or looking at stats at the end.

One of the worst ones I came across the other day, think he must just had a bad day or something cause as soon as it was clear that the game wasn't going his way (at 1-0 I think), he just started p*ssing about and slide tackling all over the place and got 4 players sent off lol! Then of course when I scored a couple more goals he quit:rolleyes:

I hate it if you score in the first 5 minutes and they quit, it doesn't count on the records if they quit in first 5 minutes so if you score early people think you're class and quit. So now the first 5 minutes are pointless and I slow build up and score usually in the 5-10 minute mark :P

My record is great online to be honest, I always come back as I play better attacking from left to right for some reason.

I love Barcelona, Inter, Madrid and Chelsea noobs though. In UT I built a championship IF team and rinsed teams easily with Sinclair, Routledge, Taarabt, Naughton and Long

Scored over 200 goals with Shane Long. Got messages off people saying they were going to stab me and hope my parents die in a fire and stuff. Really pathetic stuff. One guy crying almost doen the mic and I just kept repeating 'why so serious?' for lulz.

I then sold my UT on eBay for £60

Ragequitting it a good way of preserving one's ego/sanity.

I used to do it a fair bit in MW2 and sometimes in black ops.
Though usually I ragequit at the end of games when I realise that I've been a detriment rather than a help to my team. I don't feel worthy of being with them again :/

I'm too aware of this problem and something needs to be done about it.

What annoys me more than anything is when your clean through after about 80 minutes in a 0-0 and then they sacrfice a player with a red card and slide tackle you from behind -_-

Yeah, I had this yesterday. Was 2-0 down, scored an 85' goal. Then was through in extra time and the guy slides me from behind on the edge of the area. Unbelievably annoying, but there's not much EA can do about it.

Yeah that is very true, i find it un-sportsman like myself, i've never done it and never will. Its worse when they do it and only get a yellow card! haha
