Re: The Commons Bar Mk VEsgusodwch fi, ond beth yw Saesneg y Frenhines? Yr hen iaith fy nhadau yw iaith i!(Original post by Geraldine)
You shall speak the Queen's English and read the King's bible and you shall be ****ing grateful that London and the home counties even bother with you peripheral degenerates.
(Joke disclaimer, this could actually get nasty
)

Spoiler:ShowExcuse me, but what's this Queen's English? The old tongue of my fathers is my language!Last edited by Adorno; 23-07-2011 at 01:09. -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VI wouldn't expect anything less. Having lived there for many years I can confirm that many people in that ****ing region are abysmal and very xenophobic.(Original post by Adorno)
I went to Eastbourne for a conference. I went into a shop to get a drink and I was treated like a ****ing foreigner speaking French or something.Last edited by Stricof; 23-07-2011 at 01:18. -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VI am suitably impressed, you clearly have very advanced linguistic skills... for a savage (I refuse to relinquish my newly-found colonialist role).(Original post by Adorno)

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VI'll admit that did make me laugh(Original post by Geraldine)
I don't know what this says about the model house of commons, but every single time I look at this thread (literally) I seem to catch somebody who claims to be the local government secretary discussing his sexual exploits, and giving cringey advice, to somebody who doesn't want it. And every now and then there is an interjection from a philandering Frenchman.
Is this our future?! :O
but the advice from the Local Government and Communities Secretary is the best
you forgot to mention sexy Hazel Blears
But this is the Commons Bar; get out of Parliament

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VBox Hill? Surrey is not flat at all(Original post by Adorno)
Socialise the money and get rid of Surrey. There's nothing good there anyway: it's too flat.
No way! I already have a social housing estate within a ten mile radius of my house which is dominated by Labour councillors; that's enough thank you very much(Original post by Geraldine)
Surrey or the money? Either way I'm with you. One way to make them notice the real world would be to build a series of massive council estates right where property prices are the highest....
although the rest of the borough is dominated by independent's who claim to be non-political
But how about no

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VI love how you actually searched that(Original post by Adorno)
Box hill is 735 ft above sea level. I live at 1100 ft. So to me your "hill" is pretty flat.
or was that an educated guess?
If your hills are so mighty then where is your state funded website blowing their trumpets?
Surrey Hills - Area of outstanding beauty -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VI actually know it rather than having to search for it. There's no real need to promote on valley when there are two national parks which contain some of the highest peaks in England and Wales. Eryri, Brecon, the Black Mountains, the Preselli Range, all have their own websites if you care to look.(Original post by Ham and Cheese)
