Immigration to Canada seems too easy... hell it is harder to get into Italy

I do like the idea of owning a truck though :holmes:
I don't really see what's wrong with the UK tbh

Friend of mine with no political inclinations asked me if Cameron was going to quit. I found myself going "maybe".

    Clearly I have gone mad.

Yes, I have picked the right time to get a Twitter account it seems. So many varied opinions flying around, I love it. I agree with the piece you posted, D, though I don't know how credible I find it.

I'm not sure that matters so much. Blair was compromised, that much is true. But he will get absolutely slated by the inquiry into Iraq and has lost much credibility anyway. Cameron, who was a former PR man himself, clearly has very, very strong links with the NI business and is part of the rotten problem that stalks the British establishment.

I think if events stay as they are and nothing new comes out Cameron will just about be able to weather it, although I think something is gong to come out in the inquiry that completely screws him over.

Well, he can't hold on for too much longer because the case against Coulson hasn't fully emerged yet. The person who committed suicide always maintained the Coulson knew all about the hacking. It's convenient that he's now dead. Moreover, it was George Osborne who encouraged Cameron to employ Coulson. If Cameron stays then Osborne will take the flack I think. The Tory right may well get their wish and rid themselves of the last of this "liberal" toryism but it may also bring down the government or at least force the Lib Dems out of it.

It's a great pity Vince Cable is so quiet.

I saw this in another thread on the matter. I don't see it personally affecting him much unless it turns out Coulson was guilty AND Cameron knew- something I very much doubt.
Coulson being guilty would be a setback, but not such a major one, as it is clear the courts etc also thought him innocent.

This talk of the Murdoch media in the UK collapsing etc reminds me of The Who- Won't Get Fooled Again. 'Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.'
Unless we have an even bigger revelation, I don't see much changing in the long term.

I'd love to live in Canada. I've been to Vancouver before and surronding area's and I loved it. It's beautiful and I met some really friendly people there. It's a great city.
    The waterfront is just incredible.

    I know.

Years ago (about 7 or 8) I was in my local tesco's, and I bumped into my old science teacher from primary school. I hadn't seen him for six or seven years. He didn't recognise me at first. It was christmas time and he said after that year he was doing one more year then he was retiring. Then he said I should go back to the school and he'd take me round.
So I said sure, and he said I should bring as many of my old classmates as possible. "Of course" I said, delighted. But I sorta put it off.

Then not that summer but the one after I heard that he had had a heart attack and died.

Really sad. He was a great man, a great teacher.
