Private accommodation for medics?
Hey guys - another accommodation thread unfortunately but here goes!
Me and my mate are coming to Leeds in September to do medicine (we came through an internal transfer from bradford clinical sciences which is why we've only found out now!). We phoned the uni about accommodation and they basically said we didnt have any chance at getting the accommodation we wanted so decided not to apply through there in case we ended up getting put somewhere completely random.
So, we're looking at private halls, any recommendations? Ideally we're looking for somewhere fairly close to the uni and with parking, but we're not too fussy!
We've looked at Eldon Court so far which seems to fit the criteria perfectly though we've heard some bad stuff about the management, IQ is also nice but perhaps a bit far away, and not even near any bus routes? Triangle (http://triangle.parklaneproperties.com/accommodation/#) also seems nice but we don't particularly want to end up somewhere on our first year that is 99% postgrads and PhD students?
Something with a reputation for having a fair few medics would be a bit of a bonus but not a big issue at all
