University choices for math

Hi, I was wondering wich universities should i consider, I'm going to go for:

Imperial
UCL
Bath

and though of going for Edimburgh, nottingham, KCL, Birmingham.... but I don't know what to choose, what do you recomend?

Imperial for maths is meant to be brick wall and many graduates come out with 2:2's. I'm not saying it will be wholly easier but going for UCL might take some of the edge out of the difficulty of your degree whilst still keeping the 'prestige' to your degree. Reserve of Nottingham as the Uni is very nice. Birmingham is still classed as a 'sleeping giant' in terms of academia, and whilst still asleep I would encourage avoidance

If you are thinking of imperial and ucl then you should consider applying for Oxbridge as well, there are plenty of cases where people have been rejected from imperial and got into cambridge! Also warwick is very good as well, its in the COIW group :smile:
