i brought totora and grabowski on my first degree and thought it was fine until someone introduced me to moore and dalley - I went and brought it and I don'tt hink I've looked at tortora ever again!

moore and dailey is great! as for 200 quid...jesus my most expensive was my physiology that was about 40 or 45, but very much worth it. Have spent a fair deal on books so far tho, about 200 quid. But they can be sold on next year and so on, so im surte its not that bad. As for socialising and food etc...i dread to think...

Why does Grays have this big rep if it's really bad?

It's really a reference text - I only ever used it in the library. I used Cunningham's manuals for dissection, Snell for regular anatomy and Langman for Embryology.
